What We Believe
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infalliable authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is only one true God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of life and they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
Statement of Marriage
We believe that marriage is defined by God as being a covenant between one man and one woman.
Genesis 1: 27, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Marriage should be a reflection of Christ to those around us.
Genesis 2:24, "That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh." Marriage is intended by God to be a thriving, lifelong relationship.
