Dan and Danielle Macaulay have been married for 23 years and live just outside Nashville, TN with their two sons, Keaton and Braden. Originally from Canada, they minister across both the U.S. and Canada as marriage and family speakers at date nights, conferences, and retreats. Their passion for marriage ministry grew through their involvement in the Canadian TV show A Better Us, where they saw firsthand the life-changing impact of strengthening couples.
Dan continues to travel as an artist, musician, and songwriter, while Danielle speaks and writes for women and girls. Together, they host a marriage podcast, lead marriage events, and partner with ministries like A Better Us and Les & Leslie Parrott to encourage and equip couples. With a heart for building strong marriages that ripple into families, churches, and communities, Dan and Danielle are committed to helping marriages thrive for generations to come.

Accommodations at Grand Hotel
After you purchase your tickets, you will receive a link to reserve your room online directly through the Grand Hotel website.
The Grand Hotel Room Rate for Celebrate Your Marriage with Jay and Laura is $469.15. This includes your room, meals for two people, and is the lowest rat e thehotel offers to any group. Grand Hotel operates on the Modified American Plan. This means that your daily rate includes breakfast and dinner.
A coupon with a special discount code for ferry tickets with Shepler's Ferry Line will be emailed one month prior to the event. For 2023, the discounted round-trip rate for Shepler's Ferry is $21 per person.
Please note: All attendees to Celebrate Your Marriage are strongly encouraged to book their hotel reservations at Grand Hotel, as meals are included with our special daily rate.
Attendees not staying at Grand Hotel will be required to pay the hotel’s daily admission fee ($10 per person, per day) in order to access all sessions.
In addition, non-hotel guests that wish to eat at Grand Hotel may do so according to the following prices: Breakfast – $49 per person; Dinner – $121 per person. All rates are subject to Michigan sales tax (6%) and require advance reservations by contacting Grand Hotel or visiting the Concierge desk.
