1. How do I promote a Jay & Laura event in my church?
Most people come to an event with Jay & Laura because someone invited them. You can help people in your church hear about the conference and invite them to attend. You can help by setting up a table in the church foyer, showing a promotional video in Sunday school classes, putting up posters around the church, etc. We cannot stress enough that all this takes place with the permission and blessing of a Pastor at the church!
2. What if my Pastor won’t support promotion in the church?
Ask your pastor to browse Jay & Laura’s website to read endorsements from others and our organization’s statement of faith. Also – invite your Pastor and his/her spouse to attend a Jay & Laura event! In the meantime, honor the Pastor’s authority in the church and do not formally promote the event. Consider personally inviting people to attend by handing out event flyers.

The event ministers to couples in all stages of marriage: from those near divorce to those celebrating a great marriage. The concepts presented range from foundational to practical. All couples can benefit from attending a Jay & Laura event.

Jay & Laura events are not curriculum driven. The sessions focus on Biblical principles for marriage and growth. Jay & Laura are given the freedom to share what the Lord is putting on their hearts as they walk through their own marriage triumphs and challenges. We have found through years of experience and conferences that freeing the Holy Spirit in this way has produced tremendous response in couples across the country.

We all need time away together to focus on the strengths and joys of your marriage to recapture the thrill, rekindle to passion, and renew the spirit that brought you together.
